Shavkat Mirziyoyev on October 14 in Baku hosted the chairman of the Caucasus Muslim Board, Shaykh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said.
The parties reportedly discussed the ways to further strengthen interethnic harmony and religious tolerance, expanding interfaith dialogue, education of youth.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that joint efforts will effectively counter the modern challenges and threats, and will help to reveal to the world public the true values and truly humanistic goals of the holy religion of Islam.
Allahshukur Pashazade also expressed readiness to continue active dialogue and cooperation in order to ensure peace, harmony and stability in both countries.
