On October 14-15, the President of Uzbekistan will attend the seventh Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (Turkic Council) in Baku, the presidential the press service said.

The heads of delegations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, the observer country - Hungary, as well as Turkmenistan, will discuss the ways to strengthen and expand multifaceted cooperation within the framework of the Turkic Council.

The joint Statement of the heads of state of the Turkic Council on the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the organization as a full member will be adopted at the summit.

Also, the Declaration of the seventh summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states is expected to be adopted.

The Uzbek leader will also reportedly hold bilateral meetings with the heads of delegations attending the Summit.
