The Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov today hosted the newly appointed Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Saeed Matar Al-Qemzi, the Foreign Ministry said.
Accepting copies of his credentials, the Minister Kamilov congratulated the Ambassador on his posting and wished him successful activities.
The parties discussed the ways to expand bilateral ties in the context of the agreements reached during the visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the UAE in March, as well as other issues of cooperation.
The previous UAE Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mohammed Khareb al-Mehayribi ended his diplomatic posting in September.
