Shavkat Mirziyoyev today spoke with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan by phone, the presidential press service reported.
The two leaders discussed pressing issues in further developing bilateral relations, particularly in trade, economic cooperation and investment.
They specifically noted the importance of developing new joint industrial cooperation projects.
Mirziyoyev stressed the importance of strengthening connectivity by developing logistics and transport corridors linking Central Asia and the South Caucasus.
The president praised efforts toward the prompt signing of a peace treaty, which he described as a solid foundation for regional stability and sustained development.
The two sides also reviewed a schedule of bilateral and multilateral engagements, including those within the framework of the United Nations and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
