The First Deputy Foreign Minister Ilkhom Nematov met with the Chinese Ambassador to China Jiang Yan, the Foreign Ministry said.
The parties reportedly touched upon the practical aspects of preparing for the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states in Tashkent.
The parties also exchanged views on the program of the official visit of the Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang to Uzbekistan and on the agenda of the upcoming Uzbek-Chinese talks.
