Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan on August 16 to attend the next round of inter-MFA consultations at the level of the foreign ministries, the ministry said in a statement.
The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, Shavkat Mirziyaev and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, signed the Strategic Partnership Agreement between the two countries in 2017. In addition, the parties agreed to take the necessary measures to elevate the two-way trade to US$ 500 million by 2020.
