Uzbek PM Abdulla Aripov held talks with Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov as part of a working visit to Bishkek on Thursday.
The parties noted that bilateral cooperation in various fields is consistently gaining momentum, citing the two-way trade, which reached US$ 446.5 million year-to-date, which is by 2.5 times more to the last year.
“In the coming years, we have the capacity to elevate bilateral trade turnover to US$ 1 billion,” Aripov said.
The parties also touched upon the cooperation between the border provinces.
