In the holy month of Ramadan, Uzbekistan authorities, as part of the “Goodness” humanitarian operation today by a special flight, brought back 156 Uzbekistan nationals, mostly women and children, from the zone of armed conflicts in the Middle East, the presidential press service said in a statement.
“The government will provide medical, psychological, financial and moral assistance to these people, who through misbelief left Uzbekistan and went through a difficult period,” the press service added.
It became known that the necessary conditions would be created for them to return to normalcy, peaceful life and integrate back to society, access to educational and other social programs, including through the provision of adequate housing and employment.
