The Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will visit Uzbekistan from May 29 to 30. The Uzbek PM Abdulla Aripov and Dmitry Medvedev will hold the first meeting of the joint commission at the level of the heads of government.
Dmitry Medvedev is also scheduled to meet with the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The sides are expected to touch upon the bilateral ties in the trade, economic, investment, scientific, educational, cultural and humanitarian fields and the implementation of major joint projects in energy, industry, transport, high technologies and agriculture.
Bilateral accords on cooperation in various fields are being prepared for signing.
