The Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov today hosted the newly appointed U.S. Ambassador Daniel Rosenblum, the Foreign Ministry said.
The minister Kamilov accepted the copies of credentials and wished the new Ambassador successes in his activities.
The parties also discussed the ways to deepen Uzbek-American ties in the context of the implementation of the agreements reached following the official visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the United States in May 2018 and the talks with the President Donald Trump.
The parties confirmed their mutual interest in developing bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.
