Bakhtiyor Ibrahimov has been appointed as the new Uzbekistan Ambassador to the UAE, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"On February 19, 2019, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates, Bakhtiyor Ibrahimov, departed for Sharjah from Tashkent," the statement said.
Earlier, he worked as head of a Cabinet of Ministers sector.
