Bahodirjon Sidikov, by the Government resolution, has been appointed chairman of Uzbekneftgaz, the Ministry of Justice said in a statement.
Before, Bahodirjon Sidikov served as the head of the abolished Information and Analytical Department for Geology, Fuel and Energy Complex, Chemical, Petrochemical and Metallurgical Industry of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Earlier, he also worked as Deputy Head of the Main Managing Department of Uzbekneftegaz, Director of Neftegazinvest, as well as deputy chairman of the board responsible for prospective development and investments.
The previous head of Uzbekneftegaz (since last September) was Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, who in early February was appointed deputy finance minister in charge of social issues.
