President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany on January 20-22, 2019.
In Berlin the Uzbek leader will hold talks with the Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and the Chairman of the German Bundestag Wolfgang Schäuble on the ways to further deepen the political dialogue, expanding trade, economic, investment and financial cooperation, implementation of joint projects, enhancing cultural, humanitarian, scientific, educational and tourist exchanges.
While in Munich, Shavkat Mirziyoyev is scheduled to meet with Bavaria Minister-President of Bavaria Markus Söder, as well as senior executives of major German companies and financial institutions.
During the visit, it is planned to sign a package of bilateral accords on cooperation in the fields of industry, finance, innovation and investment, science, technology, education and culture.
