President of Uzbekistan, by his Jan. 7 decree, has appointed Golib Kholjigitov as deputy finance minister/ director at the Agency for the Development of Public-Private Partnerships under the Ministry of Finance, the ministry’s said.
Golib Kholjigitov, 39, graduated from the of Northern Arizona University in 2001, the Tashkent State Economic University in 2004 and the Harvard University in 2012.
He began his career in the Ministry of Finance in 2001. From 2004 to 2011, he worked as the leader of expert on antitrust policies improvement team under the Committee on Privatization, De-Monopolization and Development of Competition.
From 2016 to 2018, he was project manager for robotic process implementation and automation for private capital management and financial technologies at UBS Global Wealth Management Headquarters.
From 2018, Golib Holjigitov worked as a project manager for implementation of big data and machine learning for financial services at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
