Komil Allamjonov has been appointed Acting Director General of the Uzbek Press Agency, the Ministry of Justice said. In October, he was relieved of his post as deputy head of the President’s administration/ press secretary, the positions he held since December 2017.
Komil Allamjonov, 34, graduated from the Institute of Arts and Culture (2006) and Tashkent University of Economy (2010).
In 2002-2004 he worked in several positions at the press service of the Emergency Situations Ministry. In 2004-2005 he was the chief expert and 2005-2013 – the head at press service of the StateTax Committee.
Komil Allamjonov is the founder of AvtoTest, innovative driver-training program, Soliq Info (transl. Tax Info) newspaper, BEM accounting automation software and others.
Allamjonov replaced Asadjon Khodjaev who had held this post from March to August 2017.
