Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will on September 27-28, pay a visit to Tajikistan, the president’s press secretary Komil Allamjonov said on his Facebook page.
A number of bilateral meetings are scheduled on the first day of the visit.
On September 28, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will attend the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Dushanbe in narrow and extended format, with a number of multilateral accords expected to be signed.
"In a narrow format, the parties will exchange views on cooperation within the framework of the CIS, as well as discuss issues about the chairmanship in the CIS, the date and venue of the next meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State," the CIS Executive Committee reported.
