Explosion of gas cylinder occurred today at about 8:30 AM in an Isuzu bus which was carrying 26 people following a road accident on Bukhara-Karaulbazar highway in Kagan district of Bukhara region. Four women died on the spot, another one died in the hospital, the Ministry of Emergencies said.
Twenty one people were hospitalized, five in serious condition in the Bukhara branch of Emergency Medical Care.
A surgeon,a neurosurgeon and an intensive care specialist were sent to Bukhara region via the air ambulance to help the injured.
State commission was formed to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
