The Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Major-General Pulat Bobojonov hosted the U.S. delegation led by the deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), David Bowdich, the ministry said.
The sides reportedly considered the aspects of bilateral cooperation between the Uzbek Interior Ministry and the FBI in the field of combating international terrorism, extremism, drug and human trafficking, illegal migration and other crimes, and discussed the issues of exchange of confidential information, the training of law enforcement officers, holding of seminars and trainings, and set out tasks for the future cooperation.
