Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan held the second stage of joint tactical and special exercises at Forish training center, Djizzakh province, Uzbekistan, the Kazakh Ministry of Defense said.

During the drill, the units of the Special Operations Forces of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan fulfilled the tasks of conducting special reconnaissance, blocking and destroying the conditional illegal armed group in a mountain village and overthrowing the advancing enemy reserves by the guidance of aviation and correction of artillery fire.

As a result of precise interaction, the command and comprehensive provision of units when performing special operations in the territories of both states have been elaborated.

The special units successfully accomplished the tasks set for the drill and achieved the overall goals of joint Kazakh-Uzbek exercises.

The parties have agreed to hold such exercises on a regular basis.

It should be noted that the first stage of the exercises took place in Kazakhstan in mid-July 2018, when, the units of the Special Operations Forces of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan fulfilled the tasks of conducting reconnaissance and combat operations at night.
