Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his Olmazor district trip familiarized himself with the social and economic development projects, the presidential press service said.
Presentation of the project of the new sub-district - Olmazor city was held. The district will be located on over 24 hectares between Yangi Olmazor street and Small Ring road, and will host administrative buildings, multi-apartment housing, business center, hotel and mall, educational and medical institutions.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev has approved the project.
He gave instructions to focus on youth projects, developing industry and creating new jobs and pointed to the need to conduct an inventory check of unused buildings in Olmazor, attracting foreign investment and technologies.
