President"s Draft Raising Teachers’ Social Status in Public Education System Decree has been published on the portal for discussion of draft legal acts.
The draft proposes to raise the salaries of teachers of senior classes by 24% and teachers of elementary grades by 10%.
Teachers, whose pupils become winners of the Olympiads, will be rewarded with a 3 to 20 minimum wage (minimum wage -170,000 UZS) bonus.
The draft also provides for the launch of preferential long-term mortgage program for teachers. In addition, teachers will also have the opportunity to undergo internships abroad.
