Uzbek PM Abdulla Aripov met his Tajik counterpart Kohir Rasulzoda in Dushanbe on the margins of the CIS heads of governments meeting yesterday, Asia Plus reported.
The counterparts reportedly discussed the ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy, security, culture, social and agriculture, energy, industry, and focused on the implementation of the bilateral accords during the state visit of the Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Tajikistan in March of this year.
The sides also discussed the preparations for the state visit of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon to Uzbekistan in autumn this year and expressed confidence that the upcoming visit will give a new impetus to the development of the bilateral ties.
