Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov today met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrovin Moscow. Abdulaziz Kamilov is in Russia on a working visit to attend the International Think Tank Summit «Primakov Readings».

The two ministers reportedlydiscussed topical issues of the Uzbek-Russian agenda, and reviewed proposals for the agenda of the meeting of the presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Vladimir Putin expected in mid-autumn in Tashkent.

The counterparts stressed the importance of the upcoming state visit of the Russian President to Uzbekistanfor further strengthening and advancing of bilateral alliance and strategic partnership ties, giving them a concrete and long-term character.
