Chairman of tourism development committee Aziz Abduhakimov has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister, replacing Kahramon Akramov as the head of the complex of education, healthcare, ecology, environment protection and sports, a source in the government said.
Aziz Abduhakimov, 44, since 2014 was in charge the Ministry of employment and labor, afterwards he served as chairman of committee for competition and lately since August 2017 he had worked as chairman of tourism development committee.
Bakhtiyor Umarov, former first deputy minister of innovative development, has been appointed chairman of the Ccmmittee for tourism development to replace Abduhakimov.
