The petition, inititiated on the Mening Fikrim (transl. My Opinion) petitioning portal to award Shavkat Mirziyoyev the Hero of Uzbekistan order, gathered the required 10,000 signatures and is now being reviewed by the Parliement, with an official response to be posted on the site within 60 days.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev has already been awarded the Fame of Service and Dedicated Service To The Nation orders during his service as the Prime Minister.
The authors of the petition noted that "not all of Shavkat Mirziyoyev's efforts have been adequately valued by our state and have not yet been properly awarded. Let God bless our President, who has brought light to our lives, joy into our homes, improved the relations with the neighboring peoples and who is beautifying our villages and cities. Our cherished leader should be awarded adequately."
