Following  the Uzbek–Turkmen high-level talks in Tashkent the Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov adopted the Joint Statement and oversaw the signing of bilateral accords:

-        Programme of cooperation in transport sphere for 2018 – 2020;

-        Programme of Scientific and Technical cooperation for 2019 – 2020;

-        Agreement on Sanatorium and Health improving treatment of children in Avaza National tourism zone; 

-        The Government and Turkmenistan and the Government of Uzbekistan also signed the Memorandum on Transit of Goods;

-        Agreement on Interregional Cooperation;

-        Protocol on Amendments and Addenda to the Agreement on crossing Uzbek–Turkmen Border by people servicing the facilities located in frontier zones of November 2014;

-        Programme of cooperation for 2019 between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs;

-        Agreement on establishment of Trade Houses of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan;

-        Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Sports;

-        Agreement on Cooperation in Quarantine of Plants;

-        Agreement on Establishment of Business Councils at the Level of Ministries and Departments;

-        Protocol on approval of the Action Plan for Cooperation in Standardization in 2018;

-        Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute of Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan and the Institute of Strategic and Sustainable development of the Ministry of Finances and Economy of Turkmenistan;

-        The Agreement between the Ministry of Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Communication of Turkmenistan on Technical Renewal of Radio Frequencies;

-        Memorandum on Cooperation between National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan State Committee for Television, Radio and Cinematography; 

The bilateral documents between the Governments  were supplemented by the memorandums between non-governmental organizations of the two countries – youth, trade union and women associations: 

In addition, the accords were signed between the following educational institutes of the two countries: 

-        Bukhara Engineering and Technology Institute and Oguzkhan Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan;

-        Tashkent Islam Karimov State Technical University and Turkmenistan State Energy Institute; 

-        Tashkent Institute of Road Project Planning, Contraction and Exploitation and Turkmen State Institute of Transport and Communications; 

-        Tashkent State Agrarian University and Turkmen Agricultural University;

-        Tashkent Irrigation and Melioration Institute and Turkmen Agricultural University;

-        Tashkent State Agrarian University and Turkmen Agricultural Institute;

-        Samarkand Agricultural Institute and Turkmen State Agricultural Institute;

-        Tashkent State Economic University and Turkmen State Institute of economics and Management;

-        Tashkent State Technical University and International Oil and Gas University;

-        Tashkent Institute of Finances and Turkmen State Financial Institute; 

-        Bukhara State University and Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute; 

-        Uzbek State University of World Languages and Dovletmammed Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages;

-        Tashkent Institute For Architecture And Construction and Institute of Municipal Services of Turkmenistan.
