President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Kazakhstan on March 15 to attend the Working (Consultative) Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia - Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, the Kazakh President’s press service said on its Facebook page.
It is of particular significance that the five-party talks will be held on the eve of Navruz, a holiday celebrated by all Central Asian countries.
On the same day will be held the solemn opening ceremony of the Year of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan to be attended by Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Nursultan Nazarbayev. Also, the two leaders will attend a gala concert.
