Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov held talks with the Ambassadors of the Central Asian countries, the ministry reported.
Ambassadors of Kyrgyzstan - Daniyar Sydykov, Tajikistan - Sodik Imom, Turkmenistan - Shiri Shiriyev and Charge d'Affaires of Kazakhstan - Mursal-Nabi Tuyakbayev attended the meeting in Tashkent.
Minister Kamilov briefed the attendees on Uzbekistan’s proposals to implement the initiatives on advancing the multifaceted cooperation of the Central Asian states, put forward by Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the UN General Assembly meeting in September 2017 in New York.
The counterparts also exchanged views on other issues on the regional agenda.
