Uzbek Foreign Minister delegation led by Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov yesterday met with the Turkmen Deputy PM/ Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov in Ashgabat, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The delegation of Uzbekistan is attending the solemn events dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the neutrality of Turkmenistan and the 10th anniversary of the creation of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia.
The two ministers reportedly exchanged views on bilateral ties, as well as regional and international issues.
The counterparts agreed on the schedule of upcoming events for 2018 and to conduct coordinated work on further deepening mutually beneficial cooperation, as well as supporting initiatives of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan within regional and international organizations.
