President Shavkat Mirziyoyev accepted the invitation of President Moon Jae-in to pay a state visit to the Republic of Korea on November 22-25, UzA said.
The counterparts are scheduled to discuss a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, prospects for the development of bilateral ties in the political, trade-economic, financial-investment, scientific-technical, cultural-humanitarian and other areas and exchange views on regional and international issues.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev will also meet with the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister and attend the Uzbekistan-Korea Republic business forum with the participation of heads of leading economic and financial institutions of the two countries.
Following the visit, the Presidents are expected to adopt a Joint Statement on comprehensive deepening of the strategic partnership ties, as well as the sign a solid package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents, commercial deals and contracts that will strengthen and expand mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
