President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev accepted the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on 5-6 October, Uzbekistan Presidency website said.
As a continuation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz high-level meetings, the two leaders are expected to discuss the prospects for advancing bilateral cooperation in various areas and exchange views on topical regional and international issues.
The program of the visit includes a visit to the Uzbek-Kyrgyz industrial products exhibition in Tashkent.
Following the talks the Presidents will adopt a Joint Declaration between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kyrgyz Republic.
Within the framework of the visit, it is also scheduled to sign a number of bilateral accords providing for deepening cooperation in various fields.
