President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed an order Wednesday “On measures to further strengthen and develop cooperation with the United Nations and its bodies, international financial institutions and other foreign partners."
Shavkat Mirziyoyev has approved a road map aimed at promoting Uzbekistan’s initiatives put forward at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly and implementing engagements with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights ZR. al-Hussein.
He also approved a road map to ensure the timely and full implementation of the engagements with the heads of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.
The presidential decree has also approved a road map for further development of Uzbekistan–US ties and implementation of accords signed at the Uzbek-American business forum in New York.
The President also approved the composition of Coordination Groups for implementing the said road maps.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev has set up a special commission to monitor the timely and unconditional implementation of the accords inked during participation of the official delegation of Uzbekistan in the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in New York. The commission shall be headed by PM Abdulla Aripov.
