The Presidential Aide Saida Mirziyoyeva met with the Ambassador of the European Union to Uzbekistan, Toivo Klaar. During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral preparations for the upcoming EU-Central Asia Summit in Samarkand in April of this year.
"Mr. Klaar reiterated his strong support for our efforts to expand the legal protection and economic opportunities of women," said Saida Mirziyoyeva.
Toivo Klaar also underscored that Uzbekistan cherished its rich history, emphasizing that this should always serve to strengthen pride and national identity.
