Uzbekistan and Luxembourg on Monday signed the Protocol amending the Convention for Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and Capital of July 2, 1997, the Uzbek Tax Committee said in a statement.
The protocol was signed in Luxembourg by the chairman of the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Botir Parpiev and the Minister of Finance of Luxembourg Pierre Gramegna.
The Protocol adopts new provisions into the Convention that comply with international standards for fiscal transparency.
