President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Visa Procedures Simplification for Polish Tourists Decree, aimed at increasing the tourist inflow from this country.
According to the document, starting from January 1, 2018, Uzbekistan's tourist visas up to 30 days will be issued to Polish nationals within two business days. Also, the requirement to present a tourist voucher or invitation from an inviting legal or natural person has been scrapped.
According to the Foreign Ministry, visa procedure is currently simplified for the citizens of Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, Latvia, Malaysia, Thailand, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Japan, with multiple entry tourist visa issued for up to one month, and business visa - for up to one year (Malaysia - up to six months).
