Today, Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov hosted the Human Rights Watch delegation led by director of Europe and Central Asia division Hugh Williamson and the director of Central Asia Office Stephen Swerdlow, Uzbekistan 24 reports.
The sides reportedly discussed the topical issues of bilateral ties and emphasized that Uzbekistan’s Development Strategy for 2017-2021 as a comprehensive reforms program could potentially open new opportunities for constructive and cooperation between Uzbekistan and HRW based on mutual respect.
The guest shared their impressions of meetings invarious government and non-government organizations in Tashkent.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues related to the bilateral affairs, which underwent some pause.
