President of Uzbekistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Uzbek Armed Forces, Shavkat Mirziyoyev observed today the operational-tactical exercises held at Kattakurgon training field.
The exercises were held in line with the plan for combat training of the troops of the South-West Special Military District.
The military have worked six episodes of cross coupling military operations aimed at repelling and destroying the enemy threat and three separate episodes.
The President of Uzbekistan talked with military underlining the issues of all round support to servicemen, improvement of service and life conditions, enhancing their knowledge and moral values.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev pointed to the need to create a separate body, responsible for material and technical support of the national army of Uzbekistan. The President got acquainted with the military equipment and weapons used by the troops: armored vehicles, artillery, motorized units of rifle divisions, reconnaissance and communication facilities.
