Pursuant to the August 16 Presidential decree, Sahib Saifnazarov, former Deputy chairman of committee for roads, has been appointed as Deputy foreign trade minister.
Sahib Saifnazarov (44 years old) graduated from the Tashkent University of Economics. From 1996 to 1998 he was economist at UzbekSelmash. In 1999-2001, he worked as expert at the Information and analytical team of the Tashkent province governor's office.
From 2001 to 2003 he headed a subsidiary within the Ministry of macroeconomics and statistics. In 2004-2006 he served as deputy chief of IT team within the department of industrial development and structural policy, and in 2006-2009 - head of the communications, transport and IT department of the Ministry of Economy.
From 2012 to 2017 he was the director of a state-owned enterprise in Angren free economic zone.
