The visiting Political Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Special Envoy to the President of Serbia, Zoran Vujic held talks today at the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Uzbekistan.
According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed bilateral ties, fiocusing on promising areas for advancing cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.
The sides also reportedly considered the progress of joint efforts aimed at the formation of a contractual and legal platform for Uzbek-Serbian cooperation.
The Serbian side was handed over an invitation to the international conferences "Central Asian Renaissance in the History of World Civilization" and "Central Asia: One Past and a Common Future, Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Mutual Prosperity" to be held in August and November 2017 in Samarkand.
