The delegation of Fergana province, led by governor Khairulla Bozorov, signed 32 documents during their visit to China, including 29 investment and trade agreements worth of $1.37 billion, the provincial governor office reported.

Reportedly, the Chinese company Dongfeng Special Car Company intends to launch a $100 million electric buses production unit in Furkat district, with an annual production capacity of 1000 units.

While, Tunghsu Group will produce charging equipment for electric vehicles as part of a $50 million project, Jiangxi Anchi New Energy Technology will launch the production of batteries for Dongfeng electric buses for $30 million.

Dongfeng is one of the largest automobile manufacturers in China. The company's manufactures all types of commercial vehicles, passenger cars, spare parts and automotive equipment, and also produces electric buses. Tunghsu Group produces light-electric display components. In addition, her interests include alternative energy, real estate and other industries.

The delegation also made a preliminary agreement with Zhiyuanhui Information Technology on the implementation of the Smart City project in Fergana. As an experiment, it will be tested in two mahallas of the city.

While also, four agreements were signed with energy companies China Power International, CAMC Engineering, Shaanxi Xiangsheng Industrial Group and China Huadian Engineering Company on the construction of photovoltaic stations in the Besharyk and Fergana provinces with a total value of $1 billion.
