The German KfW bank may provide a loan of 500 million euros to Uzbekistan to support the budget, the Ministry of Economy and Finance reported.
At the meeting with the CEO of Mangold Consulting, Christoph Mangold on Wednesday, Minister of Economy and Finance Sherzod Kudbiev and Sherzod Kudbiev underscored that currently, due to the geopolitical situation between Uzbekistan and European countries, there are interruptions in supply chains. In this regard, a joint working group was created.
The working group analyzed logistics costs and discussed the ways to address the problem, the development of transport logistics, the formation of mitigation measures for the economy, and, taking into account the experience of the German vocational training system, the development of cooperation in the field of increasing qualifications of citizens of Uzbekistan at the leading enterprises of Germany.
Christoph Mangold noted that his company was ready to provide support in providing KfW with a loan of 500 million euros to support Uzbekistan’s budget.
