Chief of the Foreign Ministry’s department for cooperation with the EU countries and institutions, Oybek Shakhavdinov hosted the head of the EU delegation, Ambassador Charlotte Adrian yesterday, Dunyo said .
The parties discussed the current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU and the ways to advance them, future bilateral and interregional activities.
In particular, they touched upon the visit of the Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis to Uzbekistan to attend the annual meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on May 17-19, 2023.
Reportedly, they confirmed the importance of continuing the practice of organizing joint events aimed at the further development of relations between Uzbekistan and the EU in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian areas.
