On October 17 the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with his Afghan counterpart Salahuddin Rabbani, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the 43rd meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The ministers discussed the bilateral relations and confirmed their mutual interest in their further development. During the meeting, the Ministers signed the Extradition treaty between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, a statement of the Foreign Ministry press office said.
In the meeting was also present the Ambassador of Afghanistan Sayed Shahabuddin Temori.
