Officials of the Uzbek Embassy in Spain met with the head of the international department of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jaime Montalvo, Dunyo reported.
Reportedly, the parties discusses bilateral ties between Uzbekistan and Spain in the trade and economic area, and participation of the leadership and members of the chamber in the Uzbek-Spanish Business Forum in March.
Jaime Montalvo announced that executives of about thirty leading Spanish companies confirmed their participation in this event. A number of bilateral investment projects and export contracts are expected to be signed at the event. The Forum is expected to feature negotiations on joint projects in railway, agriculture, water-saving irrigation technologies, wind energy, textiles, leather industry, production of building materials and other areas.
