Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov hosted the Chinese Ambassador Jiang Yan, the Foreign Ministry said. Reportedly, the parties considered the ways to further enhance the comprehensive strategic partnership ties between the countries in various areas and the implementation of the agreements reached during the state visit of the Chinese President to Uzbekistan in September 2022.
They also focused on the development of cooperation in trade-economic, investment, transport-communication areas and exchanged opinions on the practical aspects of mutual cooperation within the UN, SCO and other multilateral structures.
The sides discussed the schedule and agenda of future bilateral and multilateral events and other issues of interest to the parties.
