Russian President Vladimir Putin offered the participants of the informal summit of the CIS countries rings with the symbols of the Commonwealth on Tuesday.
Each ring, made of metal lookalike to white and yellow gold, has the symbols of the CIS and the inscription "Happy New Year 2023". While, it also had the name of the country where the summit took place - Russia.
The rings were received by Alexander Lukashenko, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
Lukashenka was the only one who put on the ring right away.
Putin kept one ring for himself.
