Today, the Central Election Commission considered the request to resign of the Uzlidep MP Rasul Kusherbayev. Only one of the members of the commission asked about the reasons for resigning the mandate, to which the chief of the CEC, Zainiddin Nizamkhojaev, said that the reasons were not specified in the request.
After that, the commission unanimously approved the decision on the early termination of the MP’s activity in the Legislative Chamber Rasul Kusherbayev.
Rasul Kusherbaev previously announced that he had decided to stop his deputy activities after the vice speaker of the Legislative Chamber Ulugbek Inoyatov did not give him the floor during the discussion of the 2023 state budget and called the session a “staged one”. “I realized that I can’t work like this. I regret having to do this,” he said.
