Shavkat Mirziyoyev may visit St. Petersburg for the informal meeting of the heads of the CIS countries on December 26-27, announced the executive committee chiarperson/secretary of the CIS Sergei Lebedev.
“Next week is an equally important meeting, informal, of the CIS heads of state in St. Petersburg. At the invitation of the Russian President on December 26-27, this meeting will take place. We hope that it will give an additional impetus to our cooperation,” he told journalists on Tuesday in Minsk.
According to him, the most striking indicator of the strengthening cooperation between the CIS countries is the intensification of contacts at the highest level, between the heads of state.
Last year on December 28, 2021, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the informal meeting of the CIS heads of state, held in St. Petersburg.
