Airbus A321 neo of Hungarian WizzAir airline landed at the Samarkand International Airport. The first flight from Abu Dhabi, crew members and 141 passengers was traditionally greeted with a water arch and national trumpets.
Regular direct flights are planned to be operated twice a week - on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
From January 25, 2023, WizzAir plans to start flying to Tashkent three times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
