Deputy PM Ramatov and chiefs of energy industries got reprimanded. For two months they will be required to work in a high alert regimen.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that it was them who failed to prepare duly for the winter and and live up to the ongoing reforms in the country.

During today's government meeting, First Deputy Prime Minister Achilbay Ramatov, Chairman of Uzbekneftegaz Mekhriddin Abdullayev, Chairman of Thermal Power Plants Farhad Abdurakhmanov, Chairman of National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan Dadazhon Isakulov, Chairman of Regional Electric Networks Ulugbek Mustafoev, Chairman of Uztransgaz” Behzod Narmatov and Chairman of Khududgaztaminot Bakhodir Eshmuradov were reprimanded.

“If they had issued a warning, if they had told the truth, our people would have understood and would not have gotten angry,” the president said.
